The Government of the Omsk Region discussed issues related to the development of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic

Yesterday, representatives of the Omsk Region Government and the business community met with representatives of the Government and resource supply companies of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. In the VKS mode, the parties discussed areas of cooperation in the supply of industrial boiler equipment and the possibility of establishing a joint venture in the Kyrgyz Republic using Omsk technologies.

The meeting was led by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region and representative of the Omsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation. The discussion was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, the Ministry of Industry and Scientific and Technical Development of the Omsk Region, as well as the regional Industrial Development Fund. On behalf of the Republic of Krygyzstan, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Energy Talaibek Baigaziev, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Chui, Osh, Batken regions, as well as specialists from leading regional energy organizations.

"The Omsk region is interested in cooperation with the Republic  Kyrgyzstan has prepared options for cooperation. I would like to receive even more information from you about technical regulations, policies, and environmental requirements. I believe that today's meeting is necessary and interesting for both sides, and as a result, there is a need to agree on the creation of a roadmap. I am confident that in the near future we will be able to start implementing our plans, as the Omsk Region and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan have great potential for building mutually beneficial cooperation," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government, in his welcoming speech.

During the business meeting, Dmitry Bakhta, Deputy General Director of Omsk Plant of Innovative Technologies, held a presentation of the company.

"Our company cannot be considered solely as a plant that produces boiler equipment, because we produce a fairly wide range of various equipment that is actively used in industrial enterprises and in agriculture. We are constantly developing our engineering base, and we implement several E-PC contracts per year. In other words, it is the implementation of turnkey projects: from design to production of equipment, construction of a boiler room, commissioning and staff training. We cooperate fruitfully with our Asian neighbors from the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan - we have found reliable partners there. We hope to have fruitful cooperation with you in the near future."

Representatives of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan were interested in the option of localization of the Omsk enterprise on their territory. In the future, the parties will work out the economic feasibility of the project and look for partners.
