The government plans to resume work on the construction of the industrial park

The implementation of the Solnechny Industrial Park project will continue in 2017.

The regional Ministry of Economy reported that the regional budget for 2017 provides for 25 million rubles for the implementation of measures to audit the land, prepare a concept, master plan and business plan for the Omsk region to participate in a competition to provide subsidies to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the financial support of the creation of infrastructure industrial parks.

An important factor in the industrial development of the Omsk region is the availability of high-quality and affordable industrial infrastructure. The creation of a large industrial land and property complex is one of the necessary components of the implementation of industrial policy in accordance with the Strategy of Socio-economic Development of the Omsk region.

Taking into account the requirements of the master plan and the rules of land use and development of the city of Omsk, the construction of the state industrial park is planned in the area of 2nd Solnechnaya Street. The total area of the industrial park is 208 hectares, and the total investment in the creation of the park's infrastructure will amount to about 1.4 billion rubles.

The main directions of the industrial park are: food industry; woodworking industry; warehouse logistics; mechanical engineering.

In 2016, work on the creation of the industrial park was suspended due to lack of funding. But during this period of preparatory work for the creation of the park, 20 organizations expressed a desire to be potential residents. These are both new enterprises and established branches of existing enterprises.

In 2017, the Government of the Omsk region will work on the preparation of a package of documents for participation in a competition for subsidies from the federal budget to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to reimburse the costs of creating the infrastructure of industrial parks. Thus, the federal financing of measures to create the infrastructure of the industrial park may amount to about 250-300 million rubles per year, and for the entire period of the park's creation – up to 1 billion rubles.
