Omsk entrepreneurs were trained in business communication for free
On August 11, Omsk entrepreneurs studied business communication as part of a free state educational program for regional exporters.
On August 11, the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of JSC Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, conducted a training course on "Business Communication in Export activities." The training was conducted as part of the implementation of the educational program of the REC Export School on a budgetary basis by a professional certified trainer, Ekaterina Yefremova.
Future exporters have learned everything that is necessary for successful communication. How to conduct business negotiations with foreign entrepreneurs? How do I write business letters to be understood correctly in China and Europe? What kind of foreign businessmen are they in business communication? To consolidate their knowledge, the course participants analyzed real business cases.
Representatives of 14 companies from various sectors of the economy, from industrial equipment to food products, were trained.
"Foreign economic activity is a regulated process, and companies are aware of the export requirements imposed by the Russian and foreign sides. But in order to find a partner abroad, identify his needs, as well as coordinate all the mandatory points of a foreign economic contract, knowledge of the partner's cross-cultural characteristics and the rules of business etiquette is necessary. The course "Business Communication in export activities" is designed to help novice and experienced exporters in preparing for negotiations with a foreign partner. The more we know about country specifics and generally accepted business norms, the more effective negotiations will be, which increases the possibility of concluding a profitable contract," said Ekaterina Yefremova, coach of the Educational Program Export School of the REC in the Omsk Region.
After the training, each student received a certificate from the student of the course "Business Communication in export activities" of the Educational Program of the Export School of the REC.
Since 2017, the program has been implemented at the site of the regional operator of the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of JSC Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
Since the beginning of the year, 37 entrepreneurs of the Omsk region have been trained in the Educational Program of the Export School of the REC.
