In 2023, the Omsk Region developed a package of investor support tools integrated into the Regional Investment Standard (RIS).
The RIS includes an investment declaration, a set of investment rules, an investment committee, an interactive investment map and a "one window" for investors represented by the regional Development and Investment Agency.
We asked Galina Goncharova, First Deputy Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, to talk about the tools in more detail:
"Let's start with the investment declaration – it is a fundamental document for investors, it contains a strategy for the development of the region and the commitment of the head of the Omsk region to ensure that business conditions do not deteriorate. In this document, you can find out investment opportunities and development prospects, competitive advantages, support measures and other useful information necessary for making decisions about investing in the economy of the Omsk region. It is important that the investment declaration was developed jointly with representatives of the business community of the region."
