Representatives of the Omsk region took part in the IX International Economic Summit in Kazan

The key topic of this year's Summit was Islamic investments in the context of international economic relations.

The IX International Economic Summit "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017" has finished its work in the capital of Tatarstan. The summit was attended by representatives of the Regional Ministry of Economy and the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk region.

The summit was held with the aim of strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Within the framework of the summit program, a meeting of the working group on improving the efficiency of regional investment promotion agencies was held. The Working Group was established under the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and is engaged in developing the activities of investment development agencies in the regions of Russia and simplifying the processes of cooperation in the field of public-private partnership.

"The meeting of the working group was attended by corporations and development agencies from all over Russia, as well as key federal development institutions, representatives of federal and regional government authorities. We managed to share our experience in terms of executing roadmaps and meeting key investment standard indicators. Regional structures have shared their work practices," the Agency for Development and Investment notes.
