The second day of the Omsk delegation's work on the sidelines of SPIEF 2026 will continue.

A new production line for the production of high-protein cocktails will be launched in the Omsk region.

An agreement on the implementation of an investment project was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Wimm-Bill-Dann company plans to invest 290 million rubles in expanding the capacity of its plant in the Omsk region. The agreement was signed by the Governor of the region, Vitaly Khotsenko, and the head of the company, David Arnaud Manzini.

The launch of the new line will give a powerful impetus to the development of local production:

The growth of output volumes. Today, the Omsk plant of the company produces about 76 thousand tons of finished products per year, including 7 thousand tons of baby food. The new line will significantly increase these figures.
New jobs. The expansion of production will create additional vacancies in the region.
Personnel training. The company plans to actively participate in the training of specialists for the dairy industry, helping to develop specialized education and improve the skills of employees.

The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency will provide support for the investment project at all stages, from planning to launch. There is a one-stop shop support system for investors. This means that the company can receive all the necessary consultations, assistance in paperwork and administrative matters in one place, without having to contact different departments, which significantly speeds up the implementation of projects.

Svetlana Bazhenova, Director General of the Agency for Development and Investment, stressed the strategic importance of the project for the region's economy:

"The implementation of this project is a significant step for the Omsk region. It not only strengthens the investment attractiveness of our region, but also creates new growth points: jobs, tax deductions and the development of competencies in one of the key sectors of the food industry."
