A study was conducted to improve the investment image of the Omsk region in the business community.

In the period from 27 February to 29 May 2017 The Regional Agency for Development and Investment conducted a study in order to improve the investment image of the Omsk region in the business community.

The purpose of the study was to assess the investment image of the Omsk region in the business community, identify its strengths and weaknesses, as well as problems that hinder the formation of a favorable investment climate in the region, increase the investment attractiveness of the region and improve the region's position in terms of the National Rating of the investment Climate in the subjects of the Russian Federation, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation 11 april 2016 year No. 642-r «On approval of the list of indicators used to calculate the national rating of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation».

These works included an analysis of the experience of other subjects of the Russian Federation, monitoring and analysis of regional media, questioning and interviewing representatives of the Omsk region authorities and entrepreneurs. The subject of the study is the factors influencing the indicator A5 «Efficiency of electricity connection procedures» National rating of the investment climate,  compiled by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
