The regional competition "Point of Growth" will be held tomorrow in the regional Congress Hall
Tomorrow, on May 18, at 11:00 a.m. in the building of the regional Congress Hall, the regional competition of the Youth business Incubator project "Point of Growth" will be held.
The participants of the competition will be students of grades 8-11 aged from 14 to 18 years old, living in the municipal districts of the Omsk region and the city of Omsk. This academic year, the Point of Growth Youth Business Incubator project has been successfully implemented in Omsk, Azov, Lyubinsky, Sherbakulsky, Tavrichesky, Bolsherechensky and Muromtsevsky municipal districts of the Omsk Region, as well as in Omsk city schools (Gymnasium No. 19, Secondary School No. 34, Secondary School No. 23, Secondary School No. 17, RBS, Secondary school No. 162, Gymnasium No. 85).
As part of the competition, participants will present projects in four categories: "Your business", "Agribusiness", "Social Entrepreneurship", and "Implementing a project".
The Mayor of the city, the Minister of Finance of the Omsk region, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Omsk region, the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Omsk region, the head of the Department of Urban Economic Policy, the heads of partner companies (Wimm-Bill-Dann, the Low-price chain of stores, Kurochka nearby, ITB company, Educational Center Perspektiva, Flagship Shopping and Office Complex, Panorama Taxi, Joule Park and entrepreneurs).
More than 400 schoolchildren from 12 municipalities of the Omsk region will take part in the events of the Regional Project Competition.
According to the results of the competition, the students who won prizes will receive cash prizes and gifts from the project partners.
