The results of the business mission to the People's Republic of China have been summed up

From October 15 to October 19, five Omsk companies completed their work as part of a business mission to the People's Republic of China (Beijing, Qingdao). Over the course of four days, the delegation visited relevant enterprises and took part in the contact and cooperation exchange.

The trip was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency. The purpose of the business mission was to expand the geography of exports and promote goods, services and products of Omsk manufacturers in the territory of the People's Republic of China.

In the field of machine-building industry, the experience of Omsk manufacturers can be used in the modernization of rolling stock, both for freight and passenger transport. For example, the Flexible Wheel company presented a new generation wheelset project for rolling stock and attracted the interest of major Chinese manufacturers - CRRC Corporation Limited and Shandong Gaosu Group. According to Omsk businessmen, the new generation wheelset technology will help significantly save costs when operating rolling stock.

Preliminary agreements have been reached in the field of the woodworking industry. Representatives of the Alliance company held individual meetings with Chinese entrepreneurs who are considering options for the supply of wood, namely the "Common Pine" variety.

The Chinese business community appreciated the products of S-Fruit Siberia. Omsk residents held a tasting of fruit chips and slices. Representatives of a large supermarket chain in China were interested in dried mushrooms.

The company "Future Today" already has an office in Qingdao, this time they met with representatives of the Qingdao Brewery, the largest brewing company in China. The businessmen discussed how Omsk IT technologies can improve the production process.

Graphite lubricants and anti-icing products from the SMP-52 company aroused the interest of the Shandong High-Speed Group (SDHS) and export-import companies.

"The business mission in Beijing has completed its work. The main purpose of the trip has been achieved - opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the Omsk region and China have been explored. The entrepreneurs prepared commercial proposals for Chinese businessmen and held business meetings. At the moment, we are waiting for decisions from the Chinese side in order to continue further consultations," Evgeny Kovtun, Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, said following the business trip. "Specialists from the Omsk Region Export Support Center will continue to interact with the participants of the business trip and assist in negotiations with representatives of Chinese companies."
