Rosavtodor approved the Omsk agglomeration road repair program for 2018

The Regional Ministry of Construction in Moscow has agreed with Rosavtodor on a program for the development of the Omsk agglomeration's road network for 2018. According to the document, financing in the amount of 2 billion rubles (1 billion from the federal, 950 million from the regional and 50 million from the city budgets) is provided for the implementation of the Safe and High-quality Roads project in the region this year. 
Asphalt pavement repairs will be carried out at 37 city and 5 regional facilities. In addition, it is planned to install 10 traffic lights, 438 road signs, 2.7 km of pedestrian fences and apply almost 5,000 square meters of thermoplastic marking in Omsk.
The signing of the agreement with Rosavtodor on the allocation of federal funds is scheduled until February 9. After that, an auction will be announced to select contractors. Organizations are expected to begin large-scale road repairs in May.
