Since the beginning of 2017, Omsk farmers have exported about 52 thousand tons of grain.

In October, 183 wagons loaded with agricultural products were exported.

In 2017, it is planned to sell at least 1 million 200 thousand tons of grain outside the Omsk region, which has a high food value, is recognized as an "improver" of bakery products and is in demand in our country and abroad.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Omsk region, 51.7 thousand tons of grain and its processed products were shipped in 9 months of 2017. The main export partners are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and Latvia. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of grain exports increased by 14.7 thousand tons. The main volume of shipped products is food wheat sent to the Republic of Azerbaijan (the export volume is 17.2 thousand tons, which is 6.78 thousand tons more than in 2016). In addition to grain, flax exports to China increased by almost 2 thousand tons and amounted to 3.9 thousand tons. In 2017, 6 thousand tons of rapeseed were shipped to Mongolia.

Omsk grain also goes to the domestic market. Thus, according to phytosanitary certificates, 26.1 thousand tons have already been shipped to the Kaliningrad region. In 2016, it was 84.6 thousand tons. The regional Ministry of Agriculture reported that an operational headquarters has been set up to coordinate grain shipments, which interacts daily with the federal center for the supply of railway wagons and the shipment of agricultural products from Omsk. In October, 1,043 such wagons were shipped, of which 183 were exported.

Farmers of the Omsk region received more than 3.5 million tons of grain in 2017, a third of these volumes are to be sold. The remaining grain of the new crop will be quite enough to ensure the food security of the region.
