A presentation of Omsk's economic and investment potential took place in Germany today.

The Omsk delegation of official and business circles continues to work in the Federal Republic of Germany. Residents of Omsk met with the head of the Berde district/district administration, Mr. Hans Walker. We visited an enterprise for the production of LED lighting, a company engaged in water treatment and sanitation. They laid flowers at the monument of the Soldier-Liberator in Treptow Park in Berlin.

An exhibition of children's works about our city, prepared by Omsk schoolchildren, was presented at the Berde District administration. The exhibition aroused great interest from the host country, especially the presentation in German by the students of gymnasium No. 140 and No. 73. Olga Parfenova, Director of the Department of Urban Economic Policy at the Mayor's Office, noted: "The development of humanitarian ties is a very important area and provides an opportunity to gain more information about the cultural and educational heritage of the two countries, and promotes the study of foreign languages."

As part of the business program, the Omsk delegation visited the Haldensleben vocational school, where children from 15 to 18 years old receive training in two types of dual education in various professions. I visited Ekres LLC for the production of LED lighting, which develops integrated lighting systems for enterprises with different production conditions (high humidity, temperature, etc.). A visit to Kolbits company, which deals with water treatment and sanitation, was mutually beneficial.

According to the relevant department, today's program includes presentations of the economic and investment potential of the city of Omsk, the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Omsk companies. There will also be a B2B contact exchange with representatives of German companies and delegations from Serbia, Bosnia and Ukraine. It is planned to visit German companies that Omsk businessmen are interested in.
