Seven companies from the Omsk region may become participants in the regional labor productivity improvement program in 2026.
A special training program for small businesses was developed last year on behalf of Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko. It helps companies to complete training, increase revenue, and eventually qualify for the federal Labor Productivity Project, which is part of the national project for an Efficient and Competitive Economy.
Companies from various fields, including the agro—industrial complex, can participate, and not only from Omsk, but also from the regions of the region with an annual turnover of less than 400 million rubles.
The program includes a set of events designed for 3 months:
- training of employees on the basic modules of lean manufacturing (fundamentals of lean manufacturing; process mapping; implementation of improvement projects; production analysis; the 5C system);
- express diagnostics of the production site of the enterprise.
Participation in the Program is free of charge.
The events are planned at the sites of the "Process Factory" in the Congress Hall (ul. 70 let Oktyabrya, 25, building 2) and directly on the territory of the enterprise.
In 2025, 8 companies of the region became participants in the regional program. Among them are enterprises in the housing and communal services sector and a manufacturer of specialized shoes.
"The reviews are very good. Dynamically developing companies in the market understand that it is now necessary to introduce a culture and tools of lean manufacturing into their work processes," said Maxim Shulgat, Director of the Omsk Region RCC.
In 2026, 7 more enterprises will have the opportunity to complete an intensive course under the regional program. After completing the program, they will receive an individual performance improvement plan. In the future, subject to revenue growth in excess of 400 million rubles, these companies may become participants in the federal Labor Productivity project.
