The Siberian Agrotechnical Exhibition-Fair AgroOmsk - 2017 will be held for the 15th time

This year, AgroOmsk-2017, a specialized exhibition and fair of achievements of the agro-industrial complex and goods of Omsk producers, will be held for the 15th time from July 17 to 23 at the traditional exhibition park at 20 Korolev Avenue with the support of the Government of the Omsk Region and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region. The organizers of the exhibition are still the Regional Ministry of Agriculture and the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

Since May 22, the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency has started accepting applications for participation in AgroOmsk from interested enterprises, which will last until July 1 of this year.

"Currently, enterprises engaged in the production and sale of agricultural machinery and equipment are actively applying for participation. This year, in addition to the regular participants, new companies are also announced, planning to demonstrate new products that are not yet available in the Omsk region. In addition to specialized sites, thematic alleys of plant breeders, beekeepers and Omsk craftsmen have already begun to form," the Agency for Development and Investment notes.

In 2017, AgroOmsk will be held in the same format as last year. On July 17-18, specialists will be able to visit the exhibition, and on July 19-23, the fair will open for all categories of visitors. The business program will include conferences, seminars, round tables on topical issues of the agro-industrial complex and professional skills competitions.

Last year, more than 360 agricultural enterprises and organizations from 26 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan and China, took part in the exhibition. In total, agro-industrial complex companies presented more than 150 pieces of equipment at AgroOmsk-2016. In those days, when the exhibition was closed to the general public, 4,000 specialists visited it. In total, AgroOmsk‐2016 counted 160 thousand visitors.

Governor Viktor Nazarov declared 2017 the Year of Animal Husbandry in the Omsk region, so special attention will be paid to the development of this industry at AgroOmsk. The exhibition will feature breeding animals and breeding materials, machinery, equipment and modern technologies for animal husbandry (livestock complexes and pavilions, equipment for breeding, keeping and feeding farm animals, devices, tools, technologies). Also, all interested persons will be able to get acquainted with the animal feed ration and feed additives.
