This year, the traditional fair will be dedicated to the Year of Fertility in the Omsk region, announced by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov.

A number of seminars and round tables will be devoted to this topic. The new section at the exhibition will be «Preservation and improvement of soil fertility», where it will be possible to discuss the development of agricultural land reclamation, the rational use of mineral and organic fertilizers, technical and technological modernization and the development of seed and vegetable growing.

The business program will include conferences, seminars, round tables on topical issues of the agro-industrial complex, as well as professional skills competitions and demonstrations in experimental fields.

Minister Maxim Chekusov noted: «This is the main agricultural event in the region, and the focus will be on the Year of Fertility. Our agrotechnical fair will be attended by specialists of the agro-industrial complex from Novosibirsk and Kurgan regions, Altai Territory, Kazakhstan, and 19 A delegation from China is expected in July. The business part of the exhibition will be very intense. Seminars will be held for economists, financiers, farmers, land reclamation specialists. Specialists will take guided tours of the exhibition, where they will be shown new equipment and fertilizers. Farmers will also visit a potato-growing farm in the Tavrichesky district. On the exhibition fields, experts will see the work  more 20 units of equipment. And the grain growers will be shown the perennial wheat bred by our breeders.».

After all, this price increase has hit farmers very hard, and the Government of the Russian Federation has decided to compensate for the cost of fuel during the sowing campaign.
