More than 100 thousand residents of Omsk visited the Siberian Agrotechnical Exhibition-Fair AgroOmsk-2018

More than 400 companies participated in the exhibition and more than 100 contracts for the supply of agricultural machinery, food and equipment were signed.

 On July 22, the closing ceremony of the agrotechnical exhibition-fair AgroOmsk-2018, which was beloved by Omsk residents and guests of our city, took place for the 16th time and brought a lot of positive emotions. This year, the exhibition was dedicated to the Year of Fertility, announced by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov. Within the framework of the business program, the problems of preserving and increasing soil fertility were discussed particularly acutely.

During the AgroOmsk-2018 exhibition, over 400 companies representing agricultural machinery and modern equipment, enterprises in the field of crop production, animal husbandry, poultry farming, scientific research and innovation took part in it, and the entire range of services in the agro-industrial complex was presented.

115 units of agricultural machinery and equipment for processing agricultural products were demonstrated at the exhibition, 22 units of equipment of domestic and imported production, focused on the fertility of agricultural lands, were presented in the demonstration. During the 5 days of operation, the agrotechnical exhibition AgroOmsk-2018 was visited by over 100 thousand people. In addition to large holdings and enterprises representing the most famous and beloved products, such companies as Astan LLC, Tyukalinsky Bread SEC and Luft Farm presented their products for the first time.

At the closing of the fair, Nikolai Drofa and Alexander Kurzanov, Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region, spoke, thanking all participants and citizens for their support and attendance of the event, which was significant for the entire agricultural sector, and summed up the results.

Deputy Minister Nikolai Drofa noted in his speech:: "During the 7 days of the agrotechnical exhibition AgroOmsk-2018, more than 100 contracts for the supply of machinery, food, equipment and technologies were signed. Agreements have been concluded on the arrangement of classrooms by our machine builders of the Russian Federation and educational institutions. Today, having such a platform for the exhibition, we have the opportunity to show all the novelties that exist in agriculture. The exhibition was attended by over 1,000 agricultural specialists who attended field events held in the fields, and more than 500 people attended thematic seminars. To sum up, I would like to wish all participants creative success, so that the new products that were presented at the exhibition would be useful to our agricultural producers and used in fields and farms."

Deputy Minister Alexander Kurzanov thanked everyone who took part in the exhibition: "The 16th AgroOmsk-2018 Exhibition and Fair has gone down in history. We tried to show you the best enterprises of the Omsk region for the production of milk, meat, pork, eggs, brollers, as well as strange species of animals: yaks, camels, nutria, pigeons and others."

It should be recalled that the livestock industry was represented at the exhibition by 30 enterprises of the Omsk region, visitors got acquainted with dairy and meat breeding cattle. Poultry and horse breeding were also represented.

Following the event, the participants of the exhibition were awarded letters of appreciation and diplomas from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region. Among them are major manufacturers of agricultural machinery: Avtospetsmash LLC, ARRS Commercial and Industrial Company LLC, Agrokomplekt Base, Bazis-Agro LLC, SibAgro LLC, Saturn–Agro LLC, Omsk Experimental Plant Federal State Unitary Enterprise and others. For the promotion of dairy products: Vnimi-Siberia LLC, Luzinskoe Milk LLC, Nutrient Mixtures Center, Tyukalinsky Oil and Cheese Factory LLC (for dairy and cheese products). Meat processing enterprises were also awarded: CJSC Meat Processing Concern Kompur, JSC Omsk Bacon, LLC Siberian Sausages, JSC Prodo – poultry farm Sibirskaya.  A number of other processing enterprises received letters of thanks.

Diplomas for long-term active cooperation were awarded to enterprises of the livestock sector: JSC Niva of Pavlograd district, FSUE Omskoye and SEC Pushkinsky of Omsk district, JSC Znamya of Maryanovsky district, CJSC Azovskoye and CJSC Zvonarevokutskoye of the Azov district.

Olga Kadushkina, a representative of the ARS group of companies and editor-in-chief of Agrotime magazine, awarded the youngest participants for a drawing contest entitled "My dad works for K-700." The winner was a 16-year-old participant from Kalachinsky district, the second place was taken by a 7-year-old participant from Sargatsky district.

The AgroOmsk-2018 exhibition and fair will be remembered by farmers, Omsk residents and guests of Omsk for a long time with its scale, caloric content and significance. The organizers hope that next year AgroOmsk will bring together even more representatives from the regions of Russia, as well as guests from near and far abroad, to exchange experiences and get acquainted with new agricultural machinery and livestock equipment for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
