On the first two days of the session, representatives of the regional operators of the Program underwent training on effective interaction with an adult audience. This mandatory stage of training provided candidates with valuable skills in working with groups, expanding coaching tools and developing personal potential. On the remaining days, the trainers of the program studied the lecture materials, which will soon be heard by entrepreneurs in the regions where the Educational Program operates.
Leading recognized industry experts worked on the development of each course of the REC Educational Program. The authors of the modules on marketing and business communication were Anastasia Sorokina, an expert of the Business Asset Group of companies, an expert practitioner in the field of foreign economic activity and trade finance, Maria Dolgova, an associate professor at the Department of World Economy and the Faculty of World Economics and World Politics at the Higher School of Economics, and Svetlana Dolgova, an associate professor at the Department of Technologies of Foreign Trade Transactions at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Balakireva.
From the course on business communication, candidates for trainers learned about all the stages of preparing for business negotiations, the rules of conducting business protocol in relation to a specific foreign market, and various approaches to resolving conflict situations.
"The success of entering foreign markets depends very much on properly structured communication with partners and the viability of a marketing strategy, the choice of which should be based on the specifics of a particular market. When creating a course on business communication, our main task was to teach students to independently distinguish foreign markets by national, religious and cultural aspects and to take these features into account when building business relationships," says Svetlana Balakireva.
As part of the marketing course, students learned where to look and how to structure the necessary information to analyze the situation in foreign markets, got acquainted with possible models of effective entry into the foreign market and their features, and also learned how to use current technologies to promote their products in practice.
"One of the important components of success in export activities is knowledge of the specifics of business communication in the importing country and the ability to properly position and promote your product. It was very interesting to gain knowledge in these areas, and I hope that this kind of information will help our exporters to enter foreign markets more thoughtfully and achieve good results," said Ekaterina Efremova, participant of the educational session, Head of the Omsk Region Export Support Center.
"At the session, we received a special methodology for teaching courses and direct material on the specifics of business communication and marketing. Due to the fact that the training takes place in a training format, the information is perceived very easily. Real–life examples of business colleagues are of particular interest," Maxim Semin, Chief Economist of the Orenburg Region Development Corporation, shares his impressions of the session.
According to the results of the educational session, 41 trainees received certificates of trainers, who will soon begin teaching courses on business communication and marketing to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in their regions.
