This is the second large-scale event that brings together Russian and foreign businesses to explore the region's potential. More than 130 major investors, diplomatic representatives from Turkey, Mongolia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan became participants.
As part of the presentation, Evgeny Kovtun, Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, made a presentation where he spoke about the organization's mission and activities, the mechanism of the "one window" operation in the region when implementing investment projects.
"We have a wealth of experience: now the Agency's portfolio includes more than 65 investment projects with a total investment volume of more than 335 billion rubles. Every year we put at least 4 facilities into operation," said CEO Evgeny Kovtun.
In addition, the Agency's CEO presented to the audience a number of promising investment proposals aimed at raising capital and implementing large-scale projects. The presented projects cover a wide range of industries, including industry, agriculture, tourism and innovative technologies.
To date, 24 investment proposals are ready, and by the end of the year their number will increase to 166. Promising projects can be viewed on the Omsk Region investment Internet portal (https://investomsk.ru/ru/article/investicionnye-predlozheniya ) and the regional cooperation platform, and they will soon appear on the Investment Map of the Russian Federation.
