Employees of the Avangard Special Economic Zone were trained under the program "The ESG Agenda: mechanisms for increasing the investment attractiveness of territories with preferential treatment."
The program's operators are the ANO DPO "Institute of Knowledge Economics" with the support of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia.
Let us remind you that the training took place in a distance learning format. Leading government practitioners, specialists from large consulting companies specializing in the implementation of the SDGs, as well as representatives of sites that have implemented the ESG model shared practical tools to increase the investment attractiveness of territories with preferential treatment through the introduction of sustainable development principles.
So, this year 10 specialists from 7 regions of Russia were trained. Yesterday, at the face-to-face defense, employees of JSC "SEZ PPT Avangard" presented their project with honors and talked about the methods of investment attractiveness of the Omsk region. Also, as part of the educational program, SEZ specialists visited the territory of the capital's Slava technopark with an introductory tour.
"Today, the use of ESG principles is a global trend that is supported by the Russian business community. The principles of ESG include concern for the environment, responsible attitude towards employees and customers, transparent operation of the company and participation in charitable initiatives. This training was useful for the specialists of the Avangard SEZ. The acquired knowledge and competencies will allow the SEZ to attract new investments and develop industrial production, taking into account the newly acquired knowledge and competencies," said Viktor Sobolev, Director of the special economic zone.
