The Board of Directors of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency has approved key performance indicators for 2026

Today, the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency took place this year. The event was chaired by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

The central topic of the Council was the review and approval of the Agency's key performance indicators (KPIs) for 2026. These indicators act as a "compass" for the organization.: They set clear guidelines for work, allow for an objective assessment of progress and timely adjustment of strategy in a changing economic environment.

"The approved key performance indicators are not just numbers, but a strategic tool that will help focus on priority tasks and achieve tangible results for the development of the Omsk Region's economy. We set ambitious but realistic goals for the Agency, and we will closely monitor their achievement at every stage," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

It should be recalled that the KPI formation process was launched at the end of 2025 as part of a series of strategic sessions. Thus, a comprehensive analysis of the competitive environment was conducted, key strengths and weaknesses of the Agency were identified, as well as potential growth opportunities and development points were identified. In January 2026, the Agency's team completed the work on structuring and in-depth detailing of the indicators, preparing a final draft for consideration by the members of the Board of Directors.

The approved KPIs cover key areas of the Agency's activities, including attracting investments into the region's economy, including from foreign countries, supporting investment projects, increasing the investment attractiveness of the Omsk region, developing convention and exhibition activities in the region, sustainable development goals and digitalization.

During the meeting, the members of the Board of Directors held a detailed discussion of each indicator, paying special attention to their achievability, compliance with the strategic goals of the region and the ability to stimulate real qualitative changes in the investment climate. As a result of the discussion, the nomenclature and planned KPIs for 2026 were unanimously approved. The progress of their implementation will be monitored quarterly.

"We have a clear task ahead of us — not only to meet targets, but also to exceed them wherever possible. Each indicator is linked to a specific outcome for businesses and residents of the region. The Agency's team is determined to work as efficiently as possible to achieve them," said Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
