Modern electrical laboratory opened at Omsk Industrial and Economic College

Specialized laboratory «Operation and repair of electric power plants, networks and systems» It was opened at the Omsk Industrial and Economic College with the support of «Omskenergo».

Here, students will learn how modern energy systems and devices work in practice. On interactive simulators, future power engineers will be able to get acquainted with the distribution schemes of electric networks and «take it out for repair» The equipment, the relay protection and automation stand will allow them to practice setting up electromagnetic relays, and at other training sites they will be introduced to the intricacies of installing electrical equipment and the basic principles of electrical safety.

As noted by the director of Omsk Industrial-  Sergey Korovin, from the College of Economics, the equipment of this classroom meets the modern requirements of large energy companies. Classes in the laboratory will provide high-quality training for future specialists.
