The Agency for Development and Investment has signed a cooperation agreement with the Omsk City Administration.

Today, the regional Congress Hall hosted a meeting of the coordinating council for improving the investment climate and entrepreneurship development in the city of Omsk.

The members of the Council include heads of public associations and organizations, representatives of higher educational institutions, heads of scientific organizations, industrial associations and unions. Heads of regional ministries and deputies of the Omsk City Council also take part in the work of the Council.

The meeting discussed an urgent number of tasks that will help improve the investment climate and attract investment to the region. These include simplification of business procedures, development of investment infrastructure, and implementation of the best regional and municipal practices.

As part of the Council, Omsk Mayor Oksana Fadina and Evgeny Kovtun, Director General of the Omsk Development and Investment Agency, signed an agreement on cooperation and Collaboration between the Omsk City Administration and the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency Joint Stock Company.

The subject of this Agreement is cooperation and interaction between the Parties in order to create favorable conditions for attracting investments into the city's economy, forming and promoting a positive investment image of the city of Omsk.

The parties agreed to provide each other with all types of organizational assistance in the interests of the most effective implementation of the Agreement, to cooperate on the organization and holding of the most significant events in the field of investment activities and to participate in the implementation of investment projects in the city of Omsk.
