The best exporters of the Omsk region will be awarded at the conference on foreign economic activity

On November 2, the regional Congress Hall will host the conference "Foreign Economic Activity of small and medium-sized businesses", where the laureates and winners of the regional competition "The Best Exporter of the Omsk Region in 2017" will be awarded as part of the plenary session.

Recall that the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Agency for Development and Investment, with the support of the regional Ministry of Economy, is holding a regional competition "The Best Exporter of the Omsk Region" among small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. The competition is annual and is being held for the seventh time in order to stimulate and encourage the export activities of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Omsk region.

In mid-October, the competition commission for determining the best exporters of the region completed its work. To evaluate the contestants, the organizers have developed a special methodology that includes a set of several criteria, including the total volume of exports, the geography of exports, the number of export shipments, participation in international exhibition events and the availability of certificates of product quality of international standards.

 "Applications for participation were accepted from July 3 to October 1 of this year. The participants of the competition were 22 companies exporting products to the countries of the Customs Union and the CIS. Winners and laureates in four nominations have been determined. They will receive not only the right to use the title of "The Best Exporter of the Omsk region in 2017", but also cash prizes, diplomas and commemorative awards. Awarding of the winners and laureates of the regional competition will take place within the framework of the November Conference on Foreign Economic Activity," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

According to the results of the competition, the places in the nominations were distributed as follows: "The best exporter of food and (or) agricultural products" - the winner of LLC "TPK "Sladonezh", the winner, II place – LLC "Sladunitsa and K", the winner, III place – LLC "TD Sibirsky". The winner in the nomination "The best exporter of chemical and (or) mineral products" was TD Promsmazki, winner, II place – Vneshtorgresurs LLC, winner, III place – TD Center-Oil LLC. In the nomination "The best exporter of industrial products", the winner was Magic Crystal, winner, II place – IP Marichev S.N., winner, III place – LLC KB Technologiya. In the nomination "The best exporter of diversified products", the winner was the company "Big House of Wood", winner, II place – IP Syromyatnikov V.V., winner, III place – Dryada LLC.

We won the nomination "Best Exporter of diversified products. This victory obliges us to confirm the status of one of the best enterprises in Omsk. It should be noted that within the framework of the conference "Foreign Economic activity of small and medium-sized businesses", many thematic round tables will also be held, in which everyone can take part. Omsk Region exporters will discuss export activities, as well as cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region, with leading Russian and foreign experts, representatives of government agencies and supervisory authorities.
