The most active mothers of the Omsk region gathered in the Regional Congress Hall
Today, Omsk will host a Mothers' Forum on the theme "Region 55, comfortable for the family", dedicated to Mother's Day.
The event was organized by the regional Ministry of Labor and Social Development in partnership with the Omsk Union of Businesswomen using funds from the Presidential Grants Fund allocated for the "We create Jobs ourselves" project.
Almost 400 women from all over the Omsk region participated in the forum. Guests of the forum can take part in master classes and try to make jewelry for themselves together with the graduates of the project. The Slingo-Lady creative team, led by a graduate of the School of Business Moms project (this is a previous project of the Omsk Union of Businesswomen), has prepared 3 dance numbers with children.
The slogan of the forum "Caring for the family is common care" means combining the efforts and resources of authorities at all levels, the non–profit sector, employers and trade unions in addressing issues of fertility support, creating an infrastructure conducive to motherhood.
The forum will present the experience of NGOs in solving the above-mentioned issues. As a rule, this is a complex work: from consulting and informational to direct financial support. Rural life has its own peculiarities, its own problems. Community activists working in the municipal districts of the Omsk region contribute their initiatives to support families. Leaders of social projects who are ready to share their experience will speak at the forum.
The experience of employers in supporting employees with family responsibilities will also be presented and videos on the best practices of such support will be shown.
At the end of the event, the best employers will be awarded. Also, 48 mothers – delegates of the municipal forums will be awarded with letters of thanks and memorable gifts.
