The government of the Omsk region plans to form presentations of the region's opportunities in digital transformation
This was stated by the head of the regional Ministry of Economy Rasim Galyamov at an International scientific and technical conference on digital transformation.
Today, on December 6, the International Scientific and Technical Conference "Digital Transformation - a driver of innovative development and a path to effective management" is being held in the regional Congress Hall with the support of the Government of the Omsk region. The latest global trends in digitalization, best practices and business models are discussed by about 200 representatives of more than 50 companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Italy, Serbia, the USA, South Korea and China.
According to Igor Zuga, CEO of Omskneftekhimproekt, the global digitalization industry has been developing for a long time. Two to three of the global economy will account for industries related to digitalization. At the same time, the Omsk region is in the trend of economic expectations and the forecasted future. It should be noted that the Governor of the Omsk Region previously spoke about the priority role of the development of the digital economy in the framework of the budget address, highlighting it as the main direction of budgetary, economic and social policy for 2019.
"The government of the Omsk region sees digitalization as a serious driver for the development of the regions. For public administration, digitalization means saving resources, improving the quality of public services to the population, and generally improving the quality of life of the population. The Ministry of Economy is building a dialogue, a separate dialogue, which is dedicated to transformation. We will form separate presentations of regional authorities that will focus on the region's capabilities, economic opportunities, and business entities operating in the region, specifically in digital, digital transformation, and digital competencies," said Omsk Region Economy Minister Rasim Galyamov.
Five sections are planned for the conference venues during the day. These are sections on the digital transformation of industrial assets, living space, successful digitalization practices and digitalization in process management. Foreign guests and representatives of Russian enterprises will discuss the digitalization of production at all levels of management, the infrastructure of digital solutions for enterprises, as well as the experience of digital transformation of industrial infrastructure.
