In 2017, Omsk entrepreneurs are planning to organize business missions to seven countries around the world.

The Omsk Region Export Support Center has announced a schedule of business missions to foreign countries.

The choice of priority areas for the development of the Omsk Region's export potential is determined by a number of economic and foreign policy factors. Taking into account global trends, the main guideline will be the development of markets where favorable conditions exist for Russian exports. Therefore, the Export Support Center, with the support of the Omsk Region Government, plans to organize 11 international events in seven countries in 2017 in order to find new markets and increase sales.

As Ekaterina Efremova, head of the Export Support Center, emphasizes, membership in the Customs Union provides undeniable advantages to participants in foreign economic activity. Therefore, in 2017, the Center plans to conduct business missions to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Moreover, with the support of the Kazakhstan Center, Omsk entrepreneurs will be able to visit several times. Business missions for representatives of different industries will be held in February and March in Pavlodar, and in the 2-3 quarter in Astana.

In September, enterprises in the field of construction, decoration and design will participate in the Kazakhstan International Construction and Interior Exhibition "KazBuild – 2017" (Astana), and manufacturers of electrical products with the support of the Center will visit the international electrotechnical exhibition "Power Kazakhstan 2017" (Astana) in October. In April, food industry enterprises will visit the international exhibition "Asia International Import Food Expo 2017", the preparation for which was noted even in the budget message of the Governor of the Omsk region Viktor Nazarov for 2017. 

Participation in the multi-industry exhibition Expo Russia-Belarus in Minsk is scheduled for June, as well as a business mission to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek) for September.

In order to expand the geography of foreign sales markets for Omsk products, the Center is organizing business missions to Azerbaijan (March) and Finland (the second half of the year) for the first time.

Business trips are planned in China and Mongolia to consolidate business contacts previously obtained by Omsk enterprises.: in July – to Manchuria (China), September for Omsk enterprises at the agricultural exhibition in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia).
