The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency held a meeting with a delegation from the Sokh district of the Ferghana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of cooperation in the field of the agro-industrial complex.

During the working meeting, the prospects for the development of foreign trade cooperation and the implementation of joint investment projects in the Omsk region were discussed.

Agriculture became the key topic of the dialogue. The parties discussed in detail the initiatives to create a farm for breeding beef cattle, as well as the organization of modern potato farms.

The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency has prepared specific investment proposals in these areas.

The Agency's team has already left for the Gorky municipal district of the Omsk region to quickly work out land issues. Specialists inspect the territories to select suitable sites for the construction of farms and warehouse complexes, assessing the quality of soils, the availability of access roads and points of connection to utility networks.
