In the Year of Ecology in the Omsk region, a project is being implemented to build sewage treatment plants at the CHPP-5 joint venture

The implementation of the project, which is of great environmental importance for the region, is planned for 2017-2019.

In the Year of Ecology in the Omsk Region, a project is being implemented to build sewage treatment plants at JV CHPP-5 within the framework of a four-party agreement between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, the Government of the Omsk Region and JSC TGK-11 (which includes JV CHPP-5). The action plan for the project was approved at a meeting of the Public Environmental Council under the Governor of the Omsk Region and the Public Council under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Omsk Region.

The project is scheduled to be implemented in 2017-2019. The project is of great ecological importance for the region. The new technological scheme for the treatment of industrial wastewater provides for the possibility of reuse of purified water in the technical water supply system of JV CHPP-5, which will have a positive impact on the preservation of open reservoirs in the Omsk region (the Om River). At all stages of wastewater treatment, highly efficient equipment will ensure the reliability of mechanical, physico-chemical treatment and disinfection of treated wastewater.

- To date, landscaping has been fully completed, all necessary communications have been brought in – technical water pipes, heating, electricity, communications. The complex is fully ready to receive new equipment," said Petr Chernenok, Technical Director of JV CHPP-5 of JSC TGC-11.
