On March 13, a large-scale exhibition was held in the regional Congress Hall within the framework of the Coordinating Council for Industry, demonstrating the capabilities of the industrial complex of the Omsk region. The exhibition was visited by the heads of executive authorities in the field of industry from more than 80 regions of Russia, as well as the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov and the Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko.
The exhibition has become a key event in the business program of the Coordinating Council. 70 leading enterprises of the region operating in the petrochemical, military-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, light and food industries presented their achievements.
The cluster model in action
The exposition was organized according to the cluster principle. There were 14 thematic stands for the guests, 12 of which were dedicated to the existing industrial clusters of the Omsk region. A separate stand was allocated for enterprises of the military-industrial complex that solve the strategic tasks of the country.
The cluster model has proven its effectiveness: it increases the competitiveness of companies, reduces dependence on imports, stimulates innovation and creates high-tech jobs. All the enterprises participating in the exhibition are part of the industrial clusters of the region.
