The Omsk Region – Territory of Development photo exhibition opened in Moscow

The project was organized by the Representative Office of the Omsk Region under the Government of the Russian Federation with the support of the Regional Government.

"The exhibition demonstrates not only the beauty of the region, but also the variety of opportunities that we offer for the implementation of cultural and educational initiatives. Each photo reflects the spirit of the region and introduces our best practices," said Governor Vitaly Khotsenko at the grand opening of the photo exhibition.

The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for residents and guests of the capital to immerse themselves in the diverse culture of the Omsk region and the dynamic changes taking place in it.

In the first half of the exhibition, along with architectural monuments, a variety of creative directions are presented, for which the Omsk region is famous. Guests of the exhibition can see how art and architecture intertwine, creating a space filled with tradition and modernity. The series of photographs includes the Omsk Academic Drama Theater, creative teams of the Omsk Philharmonic, the Omsk Fortress Museum-Historical Park with the reconstruction festival of the Forged Army Club. The service people of Siberia."

The second part of the exhibition focuses on projects for young people. Thanks to the support of Governor Vitaly Khotsenko, initiatives are being actively implemented in the Omsk region aimed not only at strengthening the bond between generations, but also at creating a platform for self-expression and development of young people. Among the photos are the governor's New Year's ball for pupils of the Omsk military Cadet corps, the territory of a modern skate park, performances by youth creative groups, Omsk construction crews.

"The exhibition features the work of talented photographers who captured moments reflecting changes in the urban environment, infrastructure projects and people working for the benefit of Omsk. The exposition will help to increase the recognition of the region and generate sustained interest from a wide audience," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, representative of the Omsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation.

During the event, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Government of the Omsk Region and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Omsk Community.

"As part of the signed document, the Omsk Community will provide information and organizational support in addressing issues of socio-economic development of the Omsk region, participate in exhibitions, forums, cultural events, youth events, physical culture, sports and patriotic events aimed at shaping a positive image of the region," said the Executive Director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Omsk Community Sergey Kuzin.

The opening of the exhibition was also attended by members of the Omsk Region Government, senators of the Russian Federation and deputies of the State Duma from the region, activists of the Youth Council at the Omsk Region Representative Office in Moscow, as well as other distinguished guests.
