More than a hundred events were held in the regional Congress Hall.

In 2017, the regional Congress Hall became a venue for events by representatives of various business structures.

The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency summarizes the results of its work in the field of exhibition, fair and congress activities.

In 2017, the regional Congress Hall hosted events of various levels, from events organized by business structures to international projects.

It should be noted that the Agency has implemented about a dozen of its own projects, both in the regional Congress hall and at other venues in the city, which contributed to the establishment of business contacts and fell in love with Omsk residents.

The annual dialogue platform for businesses, both beginners and those working in the market, has become the entrepreneurship forum "Your business is your Success". The forum has been held since 2010. Among the participants are representatives of the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, executive and legislative authorities of the Omsk region, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as specialists, analytical experts and those who want to start their own business.

In 2017, the regional Government, together with the Agency and the IT community, implemented an interesting project for the region - the Omsk IT Forum, which became a platform for interaction between IT enterprises, large industrial companies, educational institutions and talented youth. Notably, the forum was attended by German Klimenko, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation on Internet Issues. In 2018, the forum is scheduled to be held from February 16 to 17.

"The Agency actively cooperates with regional departments and industry divisions. In 2017, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region, together with a team of Agency specialists, organized the 15th traditional Siberian Agrotechnical exhibition and fair AgroOmsk. More than 100 contracts worth more than 350 million rubles have been signed during the fair. The AgroOmsk-2017 exhibition and fair brought together about 180,000 Omsk residents and guests of our city, who were able to get acquainted with the latest Russian and foreign-made equipment, evaluate the development of the livestock industry, and purchase fresh products from agricultural producers. Within the framework of the exhibition, a large interregional meeting on the development of the livestock industry was held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov, which was attended by about 300 specialists from 12 regions of the Siberian Federal District," said the Agency's Director General.  Evgeny Kovtun.

It should be noted that in 2017, significant events were held at the regional Congress Hall: the VTTA-Omsk-2017 interregional forum, the Siberian Agro-Industrial Fair, the Indian Summer Harvest Festival and the conference on foreign economic activity.

In 2017, the Agency implemented three new projects: the Summer Season fair, which preceded the start of work on garden plots, and the Thy Day festival, dedicated to the celebration of the city Day.

One of the highlights was the fair of craftsmen "Hand Made", where artisans, pottery masters, craftsmen of folk art, individual entrepreneurs and companies engaged in the manufacture and sale of goods for creativity and hobbies presented their products. Residents of Omsk and guests of the city were able to purchase handmade author's gifts, decorative items and interior decorations, as well as clothes and accessories.

"In 2017, the Agency implemented more than 100 exhibition, fair and congress projects - international and interregional congresses, forums and conferences. The Agency's staff also provides organizational and methodological support for field exhibition and fair events, as well as guest congress and exhibition projects, which are held on the basis of the regional Congress Hall," said Evgeny Kovtun.

The annual INNOSIB Forum of Social Entrepreneurs and Investors, which was held at the regional Congress Hall, brought together experts, social entrepreneurs, public organizations, representatives of federal, regional and municipal authorities from 10 countries and more than 20 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The list of annual events includes the Siberian Health and Beauty Forum, which gathers medical professionals, including those from the aesthetic, cosmetology, and spa industries. Competitions and championships among specialists, as well as the scientific and practical conference "Men's and Women's Health: an interdisciplinary approach" became an integral part of the forum.

"We invite interested companies to cooperate in the implementation of their own exhibition and congress projects. I would like to emphasize that the Agency is ready to assist in the implementation of events at the regional Congress Hall," concludes Agency CEO Evgeny Kovtun.
