As part of the grand opening of the Siberian Real Estate Forum, Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, made a presentation to the participants.
"Our main task is to create the most comfortable conditions for investors and businesses in the Omsk region. We strive to fulfill the task of the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko, and enter the TOP 10 regions in the National Rating of the investment Climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation," said Svetlana Bazhenova.
During the report, the General Director of the Agency spoke about the work on project support in the construction of multi-family residential buildings on the principle of "ONE WINDOW" in the region. The scheme significantly simplifies the interaction of investors with government authorities, local governments, and business support infrastructures, speeds up procedures, and eliminates administrative barriers. The Agency provides a full cycle of project support: from the initial request, selection of land, state support measures to the commissioning of facilities.
It should be noted that for the current period, the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency is supporting 7 projects from leading developers, including Lingonberry, Etalon-Omsk, Stroybeton, Dogma-Omsk, Krasny Put, Medved, and Nordstroy. In addition to housing construction, developers are actively involved in the creation of social infrastructure, building schools, kindergartens and landscaping facilities.
In addition, Svetlana Bazhenova reminded the Forum participants about the feedback platform "PIC.Business". The main purpose of the service is to improve the quality of service and speed up decision—making processes. The Regional Development and Investment Agency is a single center for processing applications from entrepreneurs and investors.
At the end of her speech, Svetlana presented a proposal to establish cooperation between the Agency and the Omsk Guild of Realtors. It is aimed at combining the efforts of both sides to improve information exchange and attract new investments. The product of the Agreement may be a single database of commercial real estate. This will simplify the search for premises for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as increase the transparency of the real estate market in the Omsk region.
