The new project will be launched on January 20 and 21 at the Social Innovation Center. The School of Social Innovation project is being implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
"The School of Social Innovation acceleration program is aimed at leaders of non-profit organizations who plan to develop and implement their own social services, business project managers who plan to develop them using the capabilities of socially oriented non-profit organizations, initiators of social or socio-entrepreneurial projects who plan to start their own activities," the Center for Social Innovation reports. spheres.
140 participants will be trained under the School of Social Innovation program (4 training groups of 35 participants each).
The project provides training in a specially developed certified program, within which you can learn the specifics of developing social and socio-entrepreneurial projects, prepare a business model for your project, get information about project management and promotion technologies, as well as about the sources of resource support for the social project.
The project leader support program includes 8 mentoring sessions, 8 internship trips to existing social enterprises, 2 negotiation platforms with the participation of representatives of regional authorities, and 2 contact exchanges. The period of joint work on the project within the framework of one School of Social Innovation is 2 months, in total, four such Schools are planned to be held in 2018. Tuition at the School of Social Innovation is free for participants. The result of the implementation of the entire acceleration program will be the creation of at least 70 new social services for residents of the Omsk Irtysh region.
