A regional industrial development fund has been established in Omsk.
The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency will provide entrepreneurs with gratuitous consulting assistance on current government support measures and the possibility of obtaining preferential financing.
It should be recalled that in 2018, the regional industrial development fund was established on the basis of the Omsk microfinance Fund, with the help of which the Omsk business community had the opportunity to take advantage of one of two preferential lending programs for industrial projects in the region.
Currently, there are two industrial support programs in the region – "Development Projects" and "Components".
The Development Projects program covers projects in the field of advanced technologies, new products and import-substituting industries. The loan amounts from 20 to 100 million rubles for projects with a total budget of 40 million rubles for a period of 5 years. At the same time, 50% of the project's co-financing is provided by the borrower by attracting funds from private investors or banks, and 15% of the loan amount must be made up of its own funds (investments already made in the previous two years can be taken into account). The interest rate on the loan will be 3% per annum for the first three years of the loan and 5% per annum for the remaining term of the loan.
The program of preferential loan financing "Components" is aimed at the implementation of projects for the modernization or organization of manufacturing of components. The program provides for the possibility of attracting borrowed funds from 20 to 100 million rubles to projects with a total budget of 28.6 million rubles for a period of 5 years. Similarly to the Development Projects program, the borrower must also attract private investment, but for 30% of the project cost (and 15% of the loan amount must be own funds). The interest rate on the loan will be 1% per annum for the first three years of the loan and 5% per annum for the remaining term of the loan.
