Representatives of enterprises of the food, medical, agricultural, chemical industries, as well as other sectors of the economy of the Omsk region, who are interested in starting and developing export activities, will study the first course of the REC Educational Program. «Introduction to export: the life cycle of an export project. Government support for export-oriented enterprises».
During the course, entrepreneurs will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of their business to launch export activities, build an optimal strategy for entering foreign markets, and find out where to get government support for exporters. In addition, they will gain knowledge on how to independently determine the reliability of counterparties and analyze export risks. The courses will be held in a full-time format using interactive teaching methods. The theoretical part will be complemented by practical exercises where program participants will be able to work with real business cases on export activities.

A four-party agreement on the implementation of the REC Educational Program in the Omsk region was signed this year. within the framework of the investment forum in Sochi between the Russian Export Center, the REC Export School – the operator of the Program, the Government of the Omsk region and JSC «Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency» – the regional operator of the Program.
In total, regional entrepreneurs will have access to 11 The Program's courses, three of which are being launched for the first time this year. Thus, the Educational Program covers all stages of export activities and provides novice exporters with the most comprehensive knowledge for successful entry into foreign markets.
The trainers of the Omsk Program, who have passed the REC certification, conduct training for representatives of export-oriented companies in the region in accordance with the standards and methods developed by the REC, with constant methodological support from experts of the Educational Program.
Project Information:
The educational program was created by the Russian Export Center, the State Development Institute, specifically for training representatives of export-oriented regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) fundamentals and management of export activities. Launched 8 Program courses that cover all stages of export activities.
To date, the participating regions of the REC Educational Program are 39 subjects of the Russian Federation, 26 some of them joined the Program this year. Some regions joined in the framework of the signed cooperation agreement with the Russian University of Economics.
