A series of strategic sessions on improving the region's investment climate has started in Omsk.
An installation event was held in the regional Congress Hall to conduct a SWOT analysis of the activities of organizations involved in the development of investment activities in the Omsk region. The meeting was moderated by Deputy Chairman of the regional Government Andrey Shpilenko.
The management staff of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, the Avangard Special Economic Zone, the Omsk Region Industry Development Fund and the Omsk Region Representative Office under the Government of the Russian Federation presented reports on the progress of measures to achieve key performance indicators for the three quarters of 2024.
So, within the framework of the event, the participants jointly formed a pool of goals and objectives for the next strategic sessions, established the stages of their implementation, and determined what results should be achieved at the end of the series of events.
"The results on key indicators presented by the heads of organizations are not bad, but there is always something to strive for. All the structures whose employees participated in the strategic session are interconnected in a working manner. Without their cooperation and understanding of the activities of each participant, the region will not receive large-scale investment projects. Everyone should understand this, so we are holding a series of joint strategic sessions to achieve synergy and increase the investment attractiveness of the Omsk Region," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.
The next event will take place on November 7 at the regional Congress Hall. The organizations' specialists will prepare an analysis of the competitors' activities and best practices.
