In the Omsk region, another manufacturing company plans to increase its output

Kalachinsky Meat Products Company became one of the participants of the national Labor Productivity project. Experts from the Regional Competence Center will help the plant improve its production processes.

Kirill Samodinsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, visited the production site.

"This national project is significantly different from others, its task is to create a culture of continuous improvement in enterprises. An expert from the Regional Competence Center will help you with this. The national Labor Productivity project has shown efficiency in the Omsk region, 69 companies in the region have become its participants, including a significant part of them – enterprises of the processing and food industries, agro-industrial complex. And we have already seen good results in terms of the indicators that the companies set. In addition to expert support, there are other tools that you can use as part of the national project, such as various training programs. I am sure that the targets that you have set will be achieved, but this, of course, is a big plus not only in the development of the company, but also a contribution to the well–being of each employee, Kalachinsk and the Omsk region," he said in his greeting.Kirill Samodinsky.

The Kalachinsky Meat Products company was established in 2015. The plant produces meat and meat semi-finished products. The company's products are supplied to the Altai Territory, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, Krasnoyarsk Territory, regions of the Far East and are sold in Kalachinsk and Omsk.

The company plans to expand production, for this it is launching a new workshop, where finishing works are currently underway. The plant's management and owners expect that experts, together with the company's team, will equip the new production site, where domestic equipment has already been purchased, taking into account all the principles of lean manufacturing.

Nikolay Keller, the company's CEO, shared that the company has many development plans, and they are also thinking about expanding the range of products, in particular, semi-finished meat products. "We decided to join the project, learn something new, we already had our first training session, where we noted what we were missing," he addedNikolai Keller.

In the near future, a working group composed of employees and experts from the Regional Competence Center will diagnose the processes, and then work will begin on the implementation of lean manufacturing tools.

The implementation of the national project at the enterprises is designed for 3 years. In 6 months, a sample flow will be created, and internal trainers will be trained to implement lean manufacturing tools. In the next 2.5 years, the company will independently continue to replicate lean technologies to other processes.

The national Labor Productivity project, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is designed to create conditions for annual productivity growth in Russian enterprises. To achieve these goals, the Government has developed a set of state business support measures, which includes financial incentives, expert assistance in improving production processes and training of company employees.
