Omsk region is actively attracting investments in the field of woodworking, offering investors a number of promising projects and conditions for the implementation of business initiatives. The key investment proposals in the woodworking industry are the production of wooden sticks for the food and medical sectors, as well as the production of industrial wood glue.
The region has its own raw material base and a well-developed transport infrastructure, including access to railways and highways. Both projects have high growth and development potential, especially in the context of growing demand for environmentally friendly products and the trend towards import substitution.

The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency noted that the volume of investments in the project will amount to 100 million rubles. In addition, thanks to the investment offer, businesses can immediately assess potential markets for finished products: refrigeration and dairy plants can purchase ice cream sticks and dairy products, catering and catering companies can purchase beverage stirrers, medical institutions and cosmetology centers can purchase medical spatulas.
The next project involves the creation of a modern, high-tech manufacturing enterprise in Omsk for the production of waterproof PVA glue for wood that meets international quality standards. The products will be in demand in various industrial sectors, such as furniture manufacturing, construction work, woodworking, as well as in the DIY segment (from the English Do It Yourself — "do It yourself").
Investments in the project will amount to 190 million rubles. A businessman can choose vacant land sites and explore the human resources potential. If production is localized in the territory of the Avangard Special Economic Zone, the company will receive an exemption from taxes on property and transport for 10 years, and on land and profits of the organization for 5 years. In addition, the new company will be able to become a member of the industrial cluster of wood processing, furniture and wood products in the future, which contributes to the expansion of cooperative chains and sales markets.
Such investment projects are of strategic importance for the development of the regional economy. They not only create new jobs and fill the local budget, but also contribute to the development of the industrial potential of the Omsk region.
