The stages of forming a strategy for the development of industrial tourism were discussed in the Omsk region
A working meeting of the curators of the regional team for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region was held this week. The meeting was led by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.
It should be recalled that on February 29, as part of the field internship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia under the Federal Practice program, the regional team held a presentation of the first tourist and industrial route "Industry of Siberia - the Greatness of Russia". Federal experts from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation highly appreciated the structure, idea and content of the route.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the interim results of the team's training at the Open Industry educational accelerator, issues related to further supplementing the industrial route and testing it, and the stages of developing a strategy for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region. The meeting also set the dates for the next practical session with members of the regional team for presentations of industrial excursions at enterprises.
"The formation of such a document as the strategy for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region is an important stage for the region. The strategy reflects comprehensive plans to support and promote industrial tourism, the implementation of which will strengthen the technological sovereignty of the Russian industry. The launch of the strategy will allow the region not only to talk about its enterprises, but also to solve important tasks of attracting new personnel to production and new investors. For such a category of travelers as business missions and business tourists, industrial tourism is an opportunity to find new partners and build new production chains," said Andrey Shpilenko.
A practical session of the regional team will be held on March 23 at the regional Congress Hall.
