The first tourist and industrial route will be presented at the field internship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in Omsk

A working meeting of the regional team for the development of industrial tourism was held, where the presentation of the first tourist industrial route of the Omsk region "Industry of Siberia - the Greatness of Russia" was discussed.

It should be noted that the route is scheduled to be presented on February 29, 2024 as part of the Federal Practice field internship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District in Omsk. Everyone can attend the event by pre-registering via the link.

The meeting was led by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government. The participants discussed organizational issues, the main points of the route, which include the sights of Omsk and industrial facilities, as well as creative "chips", thanks to which the excursion to the industrial world of the Omsk region will become more interesting and more memorable.

Thus, participants of the Federal Practice internship will have a virtual tour where they will be the first to see the full power and greatness of Omsk industrialists, get acquainted with the history of the region, and learn unknown facts about the enterprises that made Omsk an industrial giant.

"It is important for the Omsk region to have a unique industrial tourist route that will serve as a starting point for the development of industrial tourism in the region, because our city has a rich industrial and cultural heritage. Such routes are a powerful tool for the development, recognition and promotion of the region, and for improving the investment climate," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

Recall that the regional industrial tourism development team of the Omsk region became a participant in the Open Industry educational program in November 2023. Training at the accelerator will allow the region to develop its own industrial tourism development strategy and guided tours of enterprises, increase consumer loyalty to regional manufacturers, and increase the proportion of young personnel at industrial enterprises.
