Industrial production is growing in the Omsk region

Positive dynamics is observed at the machine-building and petrochemical enterprises of the region.

In the industrial sector of the Omsk region economy in January-February 2017 year in relation to the corresponding period 2016 The industrial production index of the year was 101,7%. The positive dynamics is provided by manufacturing industries (102,3%) and the type of activity «Water supply; sanitation, waste collection and disposal, pollution control activities» (128,9%). The increase in output in manufacturing industries is mainly due to an increase in production volumes in such industries as: production of electrical equipment (based on 35,9%); manufacture of computers, electronic and optical products (in Russian 23,6%); production of chemicals and chemical products (based on 16,8%); metallurgical production (based on 10,2%); production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (on 6,1%).

Behind 2 Since the beginning of the year, the production volume at the Central Design Bureau of Automation has been increased by 13,6 %, at the Omsk Instrument-Making Plant named afterKozitsky – in 1,4 times. The volume of production at the Omsk Machine-building Design Bureau has tripled. In chemical production, growth was achieved due to an increase in output at Omsktechnocarbon (by 11,6%), factories «Polio» (on 3,9%) and «Omsk rubber» (in 1,8 times), toluene in «Gazpromneft-ONPZ» (on 21,1 %).
