Omsk region summed up the results of the activities of tax authorities in 2017

In his report, Vladimir Repin, Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Omsk Region, noted the growth of the tax base and the positive dynamics of tax revenues. Over the year, taxpayers transferred 63.3 billion rubles to the consolidated budget of the Omsk region. This ensured revenue growth of 7.7 percent or 4.5 billion rubles. The income tax base increased by 18 percent and amounted to 25.6 billion rubles.

The number of entrepreneurs applying the patent taxation system has increased 10 times, and the amount of patents acquired has increased 2.5 times. 212 entrepreneurs took advantage of tax holidays for socially significant activities during this period. Receipts of property taxes from individuals with an increase of 15% amounted to 1.8 billion rubles.

In his speech, Alexander Burkov, the head of the Omsk Region, noted the close relationship between the growth of tax revenues and the business and investment climate. The head of the region considers it fundamentally important to work together to balance the interests of business and the region through mechanisms that stimulate economic growth, entrepreneurial activity, and investment attractiveness of the territory.

"This is a fine line when, on the one hand, tax preferences need to form the foundations for economic growth, on the other hand, to ensure tax revenues to the budget to ensure the vital activity of the region, health, education, and the social sphere. It depends on you and me how we will continue to live, to what extent we will be able to create a balance between the interests of business and the state," said Acting Governor Alexander Burkov.
