Investment representatives and an investor's personal account will appear in the Omsk region.

The issue of improving the efficiency of working with investors and uniform rules of interaction between government and business was discussed today at a practical session in the regional Congress Hall. Representatives of the executive authorities of the region, the city administration, municipalities, business support structures, and resource supply organizations were presented with updated regulations for the support of investment projects based on the "one-stop shop" principle in the Omsk Region.

The event was organized by the Regional Development and Investment Agency. The practical session was led by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

"Today we have gathered the heads of administration, business representatives, and public associations to tell them how we will work with investors. Today we will show, not in words, but in deeds, that investing in Omsk is fast. We eliminate any temporary administrative costs and select effective support measures. Omsk is the region that will really create the most favorable conditions for attracting investments," said Deputy Chairman Andrey Shpilenko.

Thus, as part of the business program, the participants reviewed in detail the innovations in the Regulations for the support of investment projects on the principle of "one window" in the Omsk region and discussed the procedure for organizing the support of an investment project when contacting the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk Region.

It should be recalled that the Regulations for the Support of investment Projects based on the "one-stop shop" principle (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) were developed in order to reduce administrative barriers, improve the quality of public and municipal services provided, shorten the time frame for investment projects, and form a unified approach for participants in the investment process when implementing projects in the Omsk Region.

In addition, the Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, Anna Negoduiko, made a presentation, telling the participants of the practical session about the elements of the Regional Investment Standard, technical capabilities and the content of the investment map of the Russian Federation.

Summing up the event, the organizers said that each participant in the investment project will have an investment commissioner who is required to provide operational assistance in the implementation of investment projects, as well as to formulate proposals to reduce administrative barriers in the region. Also in August of this year, an investor's Personal Account will appear on the Omsk Region Investment Portal. Thanks to the digital service, current and potential investors will be able to register and track the implementation of their investment projects online, get acquainted with current support measures and send appeals.
