The development of the Krasny Yar settlement continues in the Omsk Region under the single-industry towns support program.

In 2017, two central streets will be improved, chosen by the residents of the village of Krasny Yar.

The village of Krasny Yar in the Lyubinsky district is the only settlement in the Omsk region that can participate in the state support program for single-industry towns. The town-forming enterprise here is the Lyubinsky Dairy and Canning Plant, which employs more than 40% of the village's population - about 800 people. During the summer months, the company employs 900 people. The dairy is actively involved in the life of the settlement, transfers taxes, provides social support, patronizes schools, but is unable to fully resolve the issues of employment of the local population.

Last year, Krasny Yar received a federal subsidy of more than 6 million rubles for grant support to start-up entrepreneurs and modernization of production facilities as part of the mono-settlement support program. In addition, it is planned to implement investment projects in the village for the production of egg powder and the location of a logistics center, for which a site has already been identified.

The single-industry Towns Support Project gives localities advantages in participating in social development and landscaping programs, while placing additional responsibility on local authorities and providing for public initiative.

Alexander Vasilevsky, the head of the Krasnoyarsk urban settlement, said that the village administration had sent an application to the regional Ministry of Construction for state support in the amount of 10 million rubles for road repairs in the village, as well as an application to the regional Ministry of Health for the allocation of two ambulances. 1.5 million rubles are allocated annually from the local budget for the improvement of the village. Additional tasks are being set for the local Istok management company to restore order in the yards. Residents actively participate in clean-up days and landscaping campaigns. Recently, with their participation, a place was chosen for the formation of a comprehensive sports ground.

"In order to receive support for the landscaping project, we must fulfill all the conditions of the developers from Strelka Design Bureau, go through the so-called "5 steps". One of them involves a popular vote on the choice of a street for a comprehensive reconstruction. After conducting a preliminary survey of the population, we determined that special attention should be paid to the area along the intersection of Oktyabrskaya and Pervomaiskaya streets, where the hospital, school, House of Culture and memorial square of the village are located," said Alexander Vasilevsky.

Most residents vote for this project on a special website and submit their proposals for the improvement of the central streets of Krasny Yar. So, it is proposed to equip a walking and recreation area with benches and wooden sculptures. In the spring, Krasnoyarsk residents will plant pyramidal poplars and other full-size trees and shrubs purchased at the expense of the local budget. Messages about the implementation of the landscaping project are posted on information boards in crowded places. Residents have no doubt that their beloved village will be transformed in the near future.
