Industrial clusters continue to develop in the Omsk region

A delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the regional Government Andrey Shpilenko visited Sputnik, a member of the Interregional Chemical Industrial Cluster (Republic of Bashkortostan) and Candy Fruit, a member of the Omsk Region food industry industrial cluster.

The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Omsk Region, the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, as well as the Industrial Development Fund.

The purpose of the field meetings is to establish a dialogue between government and business, discuss problems, growth prospects, conditions for attracting investments and new partners. During the dialogue with the heads of companies, we received information about the problems and barriers to production growth, plans for new projects, needs for raw materials, equipment and the search for new partners. The participants also discussed issues of staffing and financial support.

The Sputnik company produces ORTEX PVC profile for window and door structures. The products are made from high-quality raw materials using modern equipment. The special formulation is adapted to the Siberian climate and is regularly updated. ORTEX profile windows can be found throughout Russia and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently, the company's priorities are to load production with new orders and promote the company in international markets.

Candy Fruit is a manufacturer of cotton candy and popcorn of different flavors and colors in different packages using its own technology. It is important for the company to solve a number of issues: expanding production facilities, increasing sales points across regional and federal networks, and obtaining advice on purchasing equipment for the Honest Mark labeling system.

"The Agency for Development and Investment is a member of the working group on improving the competitiveness of enterprises participating in industrial clusters in the Omsk region. Our mission is to work systematically and collaboratively with the regional Industrial Development Fund. We are focusing our efforts on identifying specific factors that are holding back production growth today, forming investment proposals and, most importantly, actively supporting the promotion of Omsk products on both domestic and international markets," said Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
