The elements of the Municipal Investment Standard continue to be improved in the Omsk Region
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, together with the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, is implementing an action plan to improve the elements of the Municipal Investment Standard (IIA) in the Omsk Region. The document was approved by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk regionIt includes more than 30 events that contribute to increasing the investment attractiveness of municipalities, as well as improving coordination and interaction between authorities and investors.
Recall that the Omsk region is among the 20 subjects of the Russian Federation, where the Municipal Investment Standard is 100% implemented. The implementation of the IIA is part of the government's strategy to improve the investment climate in the country and stimulate economic development at the local level.
The Municipal Investment Standard is a system for supporting investment projects. His task is to create favorable conditions for doing business and shorten the investor's path from the idea to the full implementation of the project. The standard establishes uniform requirements for the organization of work with investors and for project support, specific stages and deadlines.
"As part of measures to improve the IIA, tools such as roadmaps for supporting investment projects, investment profiles of municipalities containing information on the socio-economic situation and investment opportunities have been developed. One of the stages of the large-scale work was the development of key performance indicators for investment commissioners, which will be approved in the near future. The new criteria will help track the dynamics of investment project implementation and changes in investment volume, as well as assess the prospects for current and planned projects," the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency noted.
It should be noted that work on improving the investment climate in the region continues. So, in July of this year, the Agency for Development and Investment plans to hold a series of seminars with investment representatives to improve the efficiency of working with investors.
