A project for the construction of a solar power plant is being implemented in the Omsk region
The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency monitors the progress of the project.
In mid-August, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region Dmitry Ushakov. The meeting discussed the progress of the investment project for the construction of a solar power plant in the Novovarshavsky district.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Omsk Region, and a branch of PJSC «IDGC of Siberia»-«Omskenergo», the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, as well as the Municipal District Administration.
Recall that the investor of the project was LLC «Avelar Solar Technologies», part of a group of companies «Heave». The company has a number of already implemented projects in the field of solar energy, and is also engaged in the construction of these facilities in the regions of Russia with high insolation.
«The Omsk region is also included in «belt» regions with a high flow of sunlight, therefore, the investor is considering the possibility of building a solar power plant in the south of the region with a capacity of 30 MW. The total investment in the project may amount to about 3 billion rubles, and the amount of annual tax deductions when the facility reaches its design capacity – before 200 million rubles», - said the Director General of the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk region Evgeny Kovtun.
As a result of the working meeting, an agreement in principle was reached between the network organization and the investor on carrying out all necessary preparatory work to connect the future facility to the distribution networks.
