The final strategic session on improving the region's investment climate was held in the Omsk Region.

As part of the strategy session, the participants defined an action plan for achieving key performance indicators of organizations providing investor support for 2025, and also set goals for "rebooting" the investment profiles of municipalities in the Omsk region.

Today, a strategic session with the investment team of the region was held at the site of the regional Congress Hall. The event was moderated by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region.

The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry of the Omsk region, heads of public associations, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, investment commissioners of municipal districts.

"The Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, was tasked with activating the activities of municipalities in terms of representing their investment potential. Today, we paid special attention to the investment commissioners at the strategic session. Together with colleagues, they talked about the organization of work on filling out investment profiles, shared their experience in conducting surveys, analyzing strengths and weaknesses, and holding strategic sessions. As early as April 2025, after protecting investment profiles and posting them on specialized Internet resources, we will be able to present the investment potential of our municipal districts in Omsk and Moscow," said Andreyshpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region.

As part of the strategic session program, the heads of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk Region, the Avangard Special economic zone, and the Omsk Region Industrial Development Fund identified the strengths and weaknesses of their organizations, identified opportunities, and outlined an action plan to achieve key performance indicators for 2025.

"Since September, the Agency's staff has been holding a series of strategic sessions. Today we have set the indicators that we will work on in the next three years. After the approval of the performance indicators, the Agency's specialists will develop a roadmap for their implementation," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

It should be noted that within the framework of the business program, special attention was paid to investment officials responsible for improving the investment climate in the municipal districts of the Omsk region. The experts gathered both in face-to-face format and on the VKS.

"Today, at the strategic session of the Omsk Region investment team, the task was set to develop a municipal investment profile. They explained to us in detail what measures would need to be taken as part of the preparation of this document, told us how to conduct a strategic session, and provided us with packages of documents that we would need to develop. It's a lot of work, but it's also very interesting. This will unlock the investment potential of the municipal area. In addition, each municipality will have the opportunity to present its investment profile not only to investors in the Omsk region, but also at the federal level, as well as in Kazakhstan," said Tatyana Dashevskaya, Investment Commissioner of the Azov German National Municipal District.
