An Association will be created in the Omsk region «Timber industry cluster»

Today, 19 In January, a meeting on the development of the Omsk Region Timber cluster was held in the Congress Hall of the regional Expocenter.

The meeting was chaired by Alexander Vinokurov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Omsk Region, and Alexander Vinokurov, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Omsk Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation» Bari Khairova.

The participants were interested regional ministries and departments, enterprises of the timber processing industry.  and the regional Agency for Development and Investment, which supported the initiative of enterprises and provided the necessary support for the initiative to form this cluster.

During the meeting, the Constituent Assembly decided to establish the Association. «Timber industry cluster of the Omsk region», which will be headed by Bari Khairov. He will also act as the authorized person for its registration.

The members of the cluster's collegial executive body and the audit commission have also been selected. About a dozen industry enterprises became the founders of the cluster. Among them: «AVA Company», Research and Production company «Siberian Forest», «OmskLesTorg» and «Pennant».

As Alexander Vinokurov noted, companies in the industry that joined the Association after its creation will have equal rights with its founders.

Currently, two clusters have been created in the Omsk region. – agrobiotechnological and petrochemical. Information about them is presented on the Omsk Region Investment Portal. (investomsk.ru).
