To solve the problem of project management in the executive authorities, the Ministry of Industry is working on three of the most significant projects: «Petrochemical industrial cluster of the Omsk region», «Creation of the Omsk Region State Industrial Development Fund» and «Creation by participants of federal and regional competitions of scientific and technical projects of small innovative enterprises in the Omsk region». In total, the regional Ministry of Industry has developed about 10 industry projects.
According to Igor Lukyanov, Deputy Minister of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies of the Omsk region, the petrochemical industrial cluster project will help expand the range of products in demand, including through the processing of petrochemical raw materials, the creation of new production facilities for phenol-acetone, bisphenol-A, polycarbonate, ethylene and propylene.
The project to create a regional industrial development fund is provided for by Federal Law «On industrial policy in the Russian Federation», It is aimed at supporting industrial enterprises and developing the industrial potential of the region. Currently, a draft decree of the Government of the Omsk region on the establishment of the Fund has been prepared.
The third project of the Ministry of Industry is aimed at developing innovative enterprises implementing scientific and technical developments with high potential for commercialization. As a result - new small and medium-sized businesses that can provide additional jobs.
